TRIBE BASECAMP
Our Tribe basecamp is an exciting extension to our charity. We are working with Wakefield Council to secure space in the old Thornes Park nursery. Here we will site our re-used shipping container classroom which will use solar energy to power lights, electricity etc.We will also be taking over additional areas of the site to house a storage container, toilet, nature / growing garden and native tree nursery.
We’ll be recruiting volunteers to help us clear the site and plan / shape the garden areas. We want this space to be an asset for the local community and offer our charity a much-needed physical base to deliver more sessions, courses and events.
